12G Rust is a community-run Rust server based in Sweden. We focus on a balanced mix of PvP and PvE gameplay with a friendly community and active staff team.
The server features a custom XP/levelling system, Skill Tree progression, Raidable Bases, player economy (Rust Bucks), and regular events.
Press F1 in Rust to open the console and type:
client.connect 79.136.0.124:28016
Or click the ▶ Connect button in the sidebar — it will launch Rust and connect you automatically via Steam.
You can also find us in the in-game server browser by searching for 12G.
You earn XP by doing almost anything in Rust — gathering resources, crafting, killing players or NPCs, looting, building, and more. As your XP grows, so does your level and rank.
Your current level and rank badge are shown in the top-right corner of the website when you log in, and in-game on your player card.
The Skill Tree is a progression system that lets you spend Skill Points to unlock permanent buffs. Skills are grouped into trees (Combat, Gathering, Crafting, etc.) with multiple tiers.
You earn Skill Points as you level up. Higher-tier skills require lower-tier skills to be maxed out first.
Use our Skill Tree Simulator to plan your build before spending points in-game.
Rust Bucks are the server's in-game currency. You earn them by playing — completing quests, killing players or NPCs, winning events, and other activities.
Rust Bucks can be spent in the in-game shop (/shop) on items, boosts, and cosmetics. Your balance is shown on this website when you log in.
Raidable Bases are PvE events where AI-defended NPC bases spawn on the map. You attack the base, clear it of NPCs, and loot the contents.
Bases come in several difficulty tiers (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Nightmare). Higher difficulty = better loot and more dangerous NPCs.
Check our Raid Boats Loot Editor for details on loot tables.
Logging in lets you see your personal stats — XP rank, level, Rust Bucks balance, and Skill Tree level — right in the top-right corner.
Login with Steam links directly to your game account, so your stats appear immediately.
Login with Discord works if your Discord account has been linked to your Steam ID in the server (e.g. via /link in Discord). If the link isn't set up, your in-game stats won't appear after Discord login.
Go to the Player Card page and search for your in-game name. It shows your full stats, rank, kills, and other info.
You can also find cards for other players on the Leaderboard page.
Full server rules are listed on the Rules page. The short version: be respectful, no cheating or exploiting, no racism or hate speech.
Breaking rules can result in a kick, temporary ban, or permanent ban depending on severity.
To report a bug or broken game feature, use our Bugs page. You can submit bug reports directly from there.
To report a player breaking rules, open a ticket in our Discord server — use the #create-ticket channel and include the player's name and evidence if possible.
Voting helps the server appear higher in Rust server lists and attract new players. Visit our Vote page for all the voting links.
You may receive in-game rewards for voting — check #voting in Discord for current rewards.
The web shop is at shop.12guys.se. In-game, use the /shop command to access the server's item store using your Rust Bucks.
